Updates

I think my posting this month will be sporadic at best. I have a lot going on. Comps are on Friday the 31st. I have to leave our vacation in Orlando to take them. Jim's parents gave us a timeshare week down there. My mother is coming to help Jim with the boys while I take my exams. The following Friday, I will be in Memphis to present at the Tennessee Library Association Conference. I come home that night to wait tables at the Applebee's Pancake Breakfast I am hosting to the benefit the Matthew's Center. Saturday April 8th from 8-10 am. $5 a person. E-mail me for tickets!!!

I will post as I can, but expect more regular posting starting April 3rd.

I Didn't Get the Job...

The hiring official called today. I am stymied because they did a reference check and I know my references are solid. I think I was plan b. But I am heartbroken that I didn't get the job. It was so close to home, right across from the daycare. Working at that library branch was my dream from the time I started library school.

I am so down right now.
