Autism Hits Forbes

Because ultimately it is all about money. It is interesting to note the vagaries of the labeling that goes on, not only between school districts, but between the educational and medical communities. Even though Jimmy was diagnosed earlier this year, the school district has thus far declined to change his label from developmentally delayed to autistic. I am researching exactly why that might be, in hopes that the change in label would give him additional services.
